Greetings from Vancouver
Tonight is our sixth night in this beautiful city of ocean, coastal mountains, sea planes, water taxis, seawall walks, gardens, gigantic trees, delicious food, and wonderful breathable air. Not to mention the wonderful people.
The soft gentle rain did not dampen our spirits nor our steps. Speaking of steps, they are easy to accumulate in this westcoast city. I can’t explain it and can only say that everything feels lighter- the air, my body, my spirits…besides the physical environment and the joy of being with my son and daughter in law, I suspect it is the freedom of a summer holiday.
Tomorrow morning we catch the new foot passenger fast-ferry to Vancouver Island – downtown Vancouver to downtown Nanaimo and a second ferry to Gabriola Island. Ferry transport is another favourite part of being here.
I hope you are all having some very special summer moments. And for the moments that are hard, sad, challenging, fearful and discouraging may you have at least one person in your life who is there to be with you. Please take heart.
With appreciation and the warmest of greetings, Trudy

Have a wonderful visit to beautiful Gabriola. Love to you and friends in common.
We can’t wait to join you in beautiful BC, two more sleeps! xoxoxo
Hi Trudy,
I expect you will spend time with Sheila and Jim over on the island. Say hi to them from their very favorite cousin. Cheers, Terri
Thank you for your positive caring spirit Trudy. Looking for ways of living well.
Lovely to read this Trudy. Continue to enjoy every moment. Happy summer!
Happy for you my dear friend, may you continue to enjoy this summer holiday! xoxox
Hi Trudy: loved reading your post after returning from hot 🥵 & humid Ontario. We were attending a family reunion, 138 in attendance, with those missing, too far to travel. A memorial garden set with florals & name tags of loved ones who have passed. Our final 3 days spent at NOTL. Glorious time all around.
Keep pace in the beauty of B.C. Trudy. Thanks for inspirational message. xo
